Signing in and your account
How the emailed sign-in link works, what a free account gives you, and how to sign out or delete your account.
Signing in
DropSlop has no passwords. To sign in, or to make an account:
- Go to Log in and enter your email address.
- Open the email from DropSlop and click the link in it.
The link works once and expires after 30 minutes. If it has expired or been used, ask for a new one on the same page. The first time you sign in, DropSlop makes a free account for that email address.
You stay signed in on that browser for 30 days. Signing in on another device needs a new link.
What an account gives you
You can use the X-Ray, Humanize and a site audit without an account, once a day each. A free account adds:
- saving drafts and their versions in your Library;
- saving voices;
- larger site audits;
- connected platforms;
- API keys for the API and the MCP server;
- a monthly allowance of checked words, rewritten words and certificates (see Words, certificates and plans).
Your account pages
- Account: your plan, your allowance and Log out.
- Usage: checked words, rewritten words and certificates used, day by day for the last 30 days.
- API keys: make and revoke keys.
Logging out and deleting your account
Log out is on the Account page. It signs out the browser you are using.
You can delete your account from the Account page. That removes your drafts and versions, voices, API keys, usage records, site audits and connected platforms. It cannot be undone. See Privacy and data for what is kept and why.
Getting help
Email [email protected], or see Contact. For a result you think is wrong, include the text or the link to the saved draft or audit, and what you expected.
